or bush? or the majority of congress? then why do they feel they can dictate what women do with their own bodies? the question of choice of what one does to their own person should be off limits to any other person or lawmaking body. the main issue i have with the pro-life v. pro-choice debate/debacle is that the two sides are fighting non-oppositional arguments, where pro-lifers see their opponents as people how are just out to destroy life [and if that were the case i would agree with them]. however, that is not the case at all. pro-choice means that you want the right to make your own decisions as a free thinking human being as to what is the right thing to do for you, not what some preacher or politician has decided the majority of their constituents [i.e. financial backers] feel they should impose on the country. when that happens, when the government begins telling the people how and when they can reproduce, it would seem that america will just become another adherent of a nationalized eugenics program, and who last had one of those? nazi germany…

[a stong analogy it’s true, but i feeel it is called for in what seems to be the rapid onset of dire times.]

or bush, or the majority of congress? so why are they so anti-choice? the “pro-life” coalition tries to peg those who are “pro-choice” as being crazed murders who attempt to concieve for the sole purpose of aborting. the sides of the argument are misconstreuet into an off kilter argument. pro-choice-ers arent in a battle over life and death [although it sometimes is the case, for the mother] but rather they argue that we should be free to control our bodies rather then allow others to impose their beliefs on us. pro-lifers are so afflicted with religious and political brainwashing that they dont remeber things such as slavery [remeber how rich white men loved to tell everyone how good that was?] as in all heated arguments, people need to take a step back, clear their minds, and enter into a new debate willing to see all sides and use a level headed approach. this would cause all sides to see that when the government begins to dictate what happenns to the individual you get a situation similar to both sweden and [nazi] germany’s adoption of eugenics to control who is permitted to reproduce [as well as other examples i’m sure, but i feel an extreme is necessary]
