i think im entering into yet another episode of i need to get the fuck out of here syndrome. for no real reason, just feeling stagnant once again, saw hella last night at the larimer, rocked out, still hate the swayback, as they suck a lot. ate japanese food from taki’s on colfax [which once made me vomit 12-78 times in 6 hours, that didnt happen this time, but im not feeling to well today regardless] repainted my bike, looks nice but i need to resticker it, plus i got a new front tire and i hate it, its too small, kills my well established aesthetic and makes me hate…anyone want to desing me a website? seriously, i know what it should look like and have it laid out in photoshop, but hate actuall web design so its just sitting there. otherwise, lots of reading, recorded some music/noise stuff that makes me smile, may try and play at a few places in denver soon, that would make me laugh, posibly too hard to actually play any sounds. oh, saw trevor dunn’s trio convlecent, the locust, and fantomas last friday, smiles again. i think i supposed to got to 4-5 events on the 6th so ill probably stay home.. at hella last night some guy walked up to my group [6 of us] and jaut started talking to us about music and such. i got really nervous and had to get away. this angers me because im usually pretty good at getting along with anyone, but something about the person/place/ etc made me unable to handle it what-so-ever. tonight and all of tomorrow will hopefully involve snuggeling, sleep and not much else. then on firday im all about laundry, fireplaces and shower instillation.

my entries from this time a year ago we awesome, now i suck.

except for the 10 inches of snow yesterday [and being at work for 10 hours as a result of said snow] things have been good, got a sizable tax refund so now im getting a 3rd shirt and some hats that make me laugh made, met a girl, fixed my bike, building up a second bike with spare parts, want to buy my old spare parts bike back also, bought too many cds again, and records from austria, and effects pedals, saw and incredible show at monkey mania last sunday where mr pacman, the show is the rainbow, justice yeldham and the dynamic ribbon device, dave philips, parts and labor, and other peoples children played, all great for varied reasons:

mr. pacman- played a special “mr pacman goes to jamaca” set with rasta themes and costumes, including one guy in a large, godzilla-like rubber crab suit.

the show is the rainbow-like and old cex [wandering throught the crowd style] show mixed with tracy and the plastics-esq video/live interaction.

dynamic ribbon device-now i can say ive seen a bare foot austrailian guy play a sheet of glass, a belt of effects pedals, a mouth full of ky-jelly and his face. then eat the glass, cut up his face, and smash it on the ground and dance on it [remember the barefoot part?] then i got a one of a kind blood/face print 7inch from him.

dave philips-incredible live noise with a amazing video projection about both animal abuse and its similarities to mass culture and conveyorbelt living. too bad most just thought it was a pro-vegan rant.

parts and labor-great noise rock form nyc who i had never heard of before, similar to lightning bolt crossed with wolf eyes, with some black dice thrown in.

other peoples children-two kids from the ftc that had to sneak out to play the show cause it was on a school night, i know ive seen both of them around at shows before, made me feel not so alone at being into noise in colorado.

and now im pissed cause other peoples children are better than me, but maybe i can track them down and they could do shows with me and nic, cause we’ve been playing a bunch and sound aweesome. going to binghampton ny for about 2 weeks in may, if anyone want to go on a bike roadtrip, get in touch.
