as we rolled out of the station all i wanted was to stare out and watch the city of lights dissapear as we ventured into the countryside. rather i was stuck there with a mirror image of all the strangers trying to get some sleep in our brightly lit cabin. i found that the only way to see the night was to stare directly into my forehead, then i felt to narcisistic so i read ?diary? by chuck plahnuk and feel asleep. i woke up to ruined castles along the catalyan coast. as i rode down the streets i continuously thought i saw you in the crowd, probably due to that dream, though i dont remember it any longer. im going to the olympics. i got on the roof of a paris hostel after being in the building for 8 minutes, it rained again, we were thrown out of the arc de triumphe, i ate a cookie under it. we get free dinner if we buy beer. sheets come in avending machine.i got hit by a second car in paris yesterday, i left his car with a punched in dent and spit covered windows (being sick and full of phlegm finally paid off i suppose). they love 80?s dance in this hostel, it has a free net connection, thats why im rambling. mcdonalds icecream costs €0.50, its the first time ive been in one since ?supersize me.? 9 days to go…

umm where did ileave off? i cantread my emails becuase germany has other than qwerty keyboards and its wreaking havok on my typing, the “y” and “z” are switched and the “at” symbol is on the “q” key, but i can type this=???? so thats cool. anyhow, im in k?ln and the d?m is huge, climbed to the top=534 stairs or so. but before that we ran into fat and mean conductors in italy so rome was a nogo, then spent roughly 18 hours on various trains getting from genova tohere, german trains are the best so far, and everone is much nicerso thats good, we`re staying with klaus dyba and the other owners of wethepeople bike company and have gotten help from jansoch of janosch?s bmx shop, its been raing mostof the time here, but we rode a cool park in s?liengen last night, then today john and i got fed up with the englishmen and took off for d?sseldorf and rode the brick trannys there and it was the best dayyet. as far as those english, they seem incr4easinglt thick-er every day, 2 days ago while riding around here they were once aghain followng us very slowly and then dissappeared completely, sowe (john and i) went back to the last place we saw them and waited for over an hour only to see them walking back casually and then be suprized when we were upset after they told us about this great bakery they found…i forgopt some stuff, we found a giant grass pyramid in paris, i have pictures someday….my finger is stillbruised, butim pretty certain its not broken…i now know what 2500 dvds look like.time to gofind the at key kids, tchu?!

in genoa italy, rome tomorrow for a few hours, then overnight train to colonge, stayed in marsailles france the past 2 nights and want to live there, saw an old lady pull over get out of her car and shit onthe side of the road. its hot here, but the med sea is for swimming….oh yeah, i got hit by a car at 6:00 a.m. riding down a hill the wrong way on a one way going about thirty, thought my hand or fingers were broken but i think im gonna be alright…holla

jon thought he was doing ok, then he was brushing his teeth and threw up…. yesterday we drove to hastings and rode the seventies warehoused, thenb we climbed on some train tracks to ride some bricks. ate in brighton and saw good graffitti, both artistic and political [bansky style stuff etc] if you can go see shaun of the dead, its funny and out on dvd already here…we’ll be on the mediteranian by this time tomorrow.

ok, im in poole england [right next to bournemouth] its on the coast, phils parents and sister are cool, we’ll be here till tuesday, then to france, got thrown out of a bar, with a dwarf who rides, played soccer at a gas station, rode wimbourne, some old concrete snakerun bowl thing, and weymouth riding a pool tomorrow, or the seventies warehouse. maybe drive around the nothern parts for a f3ew days then head to the south of france to stay with some guys we met in PA. then we’ll follow nice weather for a month.

im in boston, last stop till europe, played megaman, listened to a band in a practice space. had a dream where i discussed the differences between bicycle and motorcycle/automobile gearing ratios [you produce lower rpms than a motor, therefore you need a easier gearing blah blah blah..] now i need to find a place that will cash a check on labor day, then im gone for a month, don’t expect any updates for a while.

good things, bad timing…who knows where ill end up now. supposed to go back and manage but have had zero communications since leaving, i always have that option open to just dissappear, my parents even picked up on that one recently. i look forward to sleeping on beaches and going to another country to escape bad weather…one week away
