in the past month or so i have been slipping into a slight depression, i really dont like it here in boulder so much, i have maybe 1.5 friends and just sit at home when im not working. i try and go out but just sit and watch strangers at bars. the internet didint help either, i jst meet girls on there from many stats away and then get stuck in empty aim conversations, all this was leading up to what was seeming to be a very depressing valentines day [i’ve never really noticed in the past, this year i dont know…] so, anyway, at work on monday i get a call from this girl, its more than that, but you’ll see. this girls name is rebekah, i met her during the summer of 2000 [first one i spent at woodward, PA]. we had a summer fling, i had to come home for school, i subsequently became so depressed that i failed 3 classes and got a ‘d’ in my 4th. i dont know what it is about her but she always seemed like “the one” [mainly during that summer and fall] we tried to maintain some sort of relationship after that but it didn’t last. going our seperate ways and such was a necessity, since then i had a long term relationship that i’ll cherish forever and i have no regrets about anything i did, but hearing her voice on the other end of the line brought everything back. we talked for about an hour [while delivering food] and i dont know whats going to happen from here. im both excited and saddened by what may come from a new attempt at a relationship with her, shes is still in school, but will be done soon and it would be great to try and agrrange something, i wanted to start driving to pennsylvania as i talked to her, i need to get out there soon, money and jobs are stupid and i hate them alot rightnow, but at the same time everything is just that much better in knowing…
